This Privacy Policy explains how Elseborne Labs ("Elseborne," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, desktop applications, games, console experiences, online services, accounts, subscriptions, support channels, and related products.
This Privacy Policy applies to all current and future Elseborne products, including but not limited to Reverie, Out, RoommateOS, future apps, future games, web experiences, Android and iOS apps, Windows and macOS apps, and console products for platforms such as Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, or other supported platforms.
Some products may have additional privacy notices. If a product-specific privacy notice conflicts with this Privacy Policy, the product-specific notice controls for that product.
1. Who We Are
Elseborne Labs is a developer/publisher brand based in India.
For the purposes of privacy laws, the controller or responsible entity for your personal information is the developer, publisher, operator, or legal entity identified in the relevant product, store listing, website, in-app notice, invoice, or legal notice under the Elseborne brand.

2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the product you use, the features you enable, your device settings, permissions, platform, region, and whether you create an account or make purchases.
2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect information you provide directly, such as:
- Name, display name, username, avatar, profile photo, or account details;
- Email address, phone number, or login credentials where supported;
- Profile information for social, dating, roommate, community, or game features;
- App content such as bucket list items, goals, checklists, notes, reflections, rooms, tasks, chores, expenses, shopping items, comments, messages, preferences, saved places, game names, or custom settings;
- Photos, images, files, QR codes, or media you upload;
- Support messages, feedback, surveys, bug reports, feature requests, or contact form submissions;
- Subscription, gift code, access code, or purchase-related information;
- Payment-related identifiers you choose to provide, such as UPI ID, UPI display name, or payment QR code in products that support settlement links.
We do not intentionally collect full card numbers or bank passwords. Payment processing is generally handled by third-party app stores, payment providers, banks, wallet providers, or UPI apps.
2.2 Account and Authentication Information
If you sign in, we may receive information from authentication providers, such as:
- Email address;
- Name or display name;
- Profile picture;
- Provider account ID;
- Login status or authentication tokens required to keep you signed in.
Examples of authentication providers may include Google, Apple, platform accounts, email login, or other supported providers.
2.3 Device, App, and Usage Information
We may collect technical and usage data, including:
- Device type, model, operating system, browser, language, region, and time zone;
- App version, build number, platform, install source, and update status;
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP address;
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, installation IDs, session IDs, or platform identifiers where permitted;
- Feature usage, screens viewed, buttons clicked, session duration, preferences, settings, and interaction patterns;
- Crash logs, performance data, diagnostics, errors, and debugging information;
- Security logs, abuse signals, fraud prevention data, and account activity.
2.4 Game and Console Information
For games or game-like products, we may collect:
- Gameplay progress, levels, achievements, trophies, XP, badges, scores, leaderboards, inventory, virtual items, characters, skins, saved games, match history, and game settings;
- Multiplayer, matchmaking, room, friend, party, lobby, or online-session data;
- Platform IDs, gamer tags, console network IDs, store account IDs, cloud-save identifiers, or purchase entitlements provided by platform providers;
- Anti-cheat, security, abuse-prevention, and gameplay integrity data where applicable.
Console platforms, PC stores, and game networks may separately collect information under their own privacy policies.
2.5 Location Information
Some products may request location access or use approximate location.
Depending on the product and permissions, we may collect:
- Approximate location based on IP address;
- City, region, or country;
- Precise location only if you grant device permission and the feature requires it.
Examples may include social discovery, nearby events, local features, safety features, travel or place-based features, or analytics.
You can usually disable location permissions in your device settings.
2.6 Contacts, Camera, Photos, Microphone, and Notifications
Some products may request device permissions, such as:
- Camera, for uploading images, profile photos, QR codes, or app-specific media;
- Photos or storage, for selecting images, saving files, or uploading content;
- Contacts, only if a feature lets you invite or find people and you grant permission;
- Microphone, only if a product includes voice, recording, or media features;
- Notifications, for reminders, updates, messages, chores, tasks, streaks, game events, or account alerts.
We collect permission-based data only when required for the feature and permitted by your device/platform settings.
2.7 Purchase and Subscription Information
When you buy, subscribe, redeem a code, or access paid features, we may receive:
- Purchase status;
- Subscription tier;
- Renewal status;
- Transaction identifier;
- Store, platform, or payment provider;
- Product purchased;
- Country/region and tax-related metadata;
- Gift code, access code, or entitlement status.
Payment details are usually processed by third-party platforms such as Google Play, Apple, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Steam, Epic Games Store, payment gateways, banks, wallet providers, or UPI apps. We do not receive full payment card details from those providers.
2.8 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our websites and web-based products may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in;
- Remember preferences;
- Improve performance;
- Understand website usage;
- Prevent fraud or abuse;
- Measure campaigns or product interest.

- Personalize product experience where appropriate;
- Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, cheating, abuse, spam, security incidents, policy violations, or illegal activity;
- Enforce our Terms of Service and product rules;
- Comply with legal obligations, platform requirements, tax rules, lawful requests, or court orders;
- Develop new apps, games, features, and services.
4. Legal Bases and Lawful Processing
Depending on your region and the product you use, we process personal information based on one or more lawful grounds, including:

We do not sell your personal information for money.

If you use our products through Google Play, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam, Epic Games Store, or another platform, information may be shared with or received from that platform as needed for:

- Entitlements;
- Achievements, trophies, or leaderboards;
- Cloud saves;
- Account login;
- Refunds;
- Safety and compliance;
- Store listing requirements.
Those platforms may also collect information directly under their own privacy policies.
5.3 Other Users
Some features are designed to share information with other users, such as:
- Public profiles;
- Display names and avatars;
- Social or dating profiles;
- Messages, posts, rooms, roommate groups, shared expenses, chores, shopping lists, leaderboards, game lobbies, or multiplayer information;
- Content you choose to share.
Only share information you are comfortable making visible to the relevant audience.
5.4 Legal, Safety, and Compliance
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request;
- Enforce our Terms of Service;
- Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, cheating, spam, security incidents, or illegal activity;
- Protect the rights, safety, property, or security of users, Elseborne, platforms, or the public;

5.5 Business Transfers

Some current or future products may include marketing, launch updates, app announcements, newsletters, promotions, or advertisements.
Where required, we will ask for consent before sending marketing communications or using tracking technologies for advertising.

If a product includes ads or third-party ad SDKs, the product or store listing will provide additional disclosures where required.
7. Analytics and Product Improvement
We may use analytics and diagnostics to understand how our products are used, improve performance, fix crashes, improve UI/UX, measure feature adoption, detect abuse, and prioritize development.
Where possible, analytics are limited, aggregated, pseudonymized, or configured to reduce unnecessary collection.
You may be able to limit analytics through device settings, product settings, cookie settings, consent prompts, or platform privacy controls.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- Providing products and accounts;
- Maintaining app content, game progress, purchases, entitlements, and support history;
- Complying with legal, tax, accounting, platform, and security obligations;
- Resolving disputes;
- Preventing fraud, abuse, cheating, and repeat violations.
Retention periods may vary by product, data type, account status, platform rules, and legal requirements.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or de-identify it where reasonably possible.
Some information may remain in backups for a limited period before deletion.

No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, and platform accounts secure.

Elseborne is based in India, and our service providers may process information in India and other countries.
Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, platform safeguards, consent, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

We do not sell personal information for money.
If a future product uses targeted advertising or data sharing that triggers additional rights, we will provide applicable notices and opt-out options.
15. Children's Privacy
Unless a specific product is clearly designed for children and provides a child-specific privacy notice, Elseborne products are not directed to children under 13.
Some products, such as dating or adult social discovery products, may require users to be at least 18 years old.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without required parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

16. Social, Dating, Community, and Public Features
If you use social, dating, messaging, roommate, community, multiplayer, public profile, leaderboard, or sharing features, some information may be visible to other users.
This may include your display name, avatar, profile details, messages, posts, shared room data, game stats, achievements, or content you choose to share.
Do not share sensitive personal information with other users unless you understand the risks.
We may review, moderate, restrict, or remove content or accounts to protect users, enforce rules, comply with laws, or maintain product safety.
17. UPI, Payment Links, and Roommate Settlements
Some products may allow users to store or use UPI IDs, UPI display names, QR codes, settlement amounts, shared expenses, or payment links.
Unless clearly stated otherwise:
- Elseborne does not process, hold, transfer, or reverse payments;
- Actual payments happen through third-party UPI apps, banks, wallets, or payment providers;
- We may store settlement-related information only to provide product features, such as calculating who owes whom, showing payment links, or maintaining room history;
- Users are responsible for verifying payment details before paying.
Do not enter payment details you do not want stored or displayed according to the product's sharing settings.
18. AI and Automated Features
Current or future Elseborne products may include AI-assisted, automated, recommendation, personalization, moderation, or smart-suggestion features.
If a product includes such features, we may process your input, usage data, or content to provide the feature.
Where third-party AI or automation service providers are used, we will provide appropriate disclosures where required.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or highly personal information into AI features unless the product clearly explains how that information is handled and you are comfortable with it.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
Our products may link to or integrate third-party websites, platforms, stores, payment providers, login providers, social networks, map providers, analytics services, cloud services, game networks, or UPI apps.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

20. Account Deletion and Data Deletion
Where supported, you may delete your account through in-app settings or by contacting us.
When you request deletion:
- We may delete or de-identify account information and app content;
- Some information may remain if required for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, platform compliance, or backup purposes;
- Content shared with other users may remain visible if it is part of their account, room, message history, game session, or shared record, unless deletion is required by law or technically feasible;
- Purchases and platform entitlements may remain subject to platform records.

21. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals.
Where legally required, we will honor applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are material, we may notify you through our website, app, email, store listing, release notes, or other reasonable methods.
The "Last Updated" date shows when this Privacy Policy was last revised.
Your continued use of our products after the updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use.
