1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Reverie. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Reverie mobile application, website, services, features, and related content provided by Elseborne.

By creating an account, signing in, or using Reverie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. About Reverie

Reverie is a personal bucket list and dream journal app. It allows users to create, organize, edit, and track personal dreams, goals, places, experiences, items, skills, notes, images, and related preferences.

Reverie is intended for personal planning, journaling, and inspiration. It is not a financial, legal, medical, psychological, travel, safety, or professional advice service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reverie. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should use Reverie only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By using Reverie, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

To use cloud-based features, you may need to create an account using email/password or Google sign-in.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, and all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Your Content

You may create or upload content in Reverie, including bucket list items, notes, images, background images, profile information, settings, and other personal entries.

You retain ownership of your content.

By using Reverie, you give Elseborne a limited permission to store, process, display, back up, and transmit your content only as needed to operate and improve the app.

You are responsible for the content you add to Reverie. Do not upload content that violates any law, infringes someone else's rights, contains harmful or illegal material, contains malware, disrupts the app, or exposes private information of others without permission.

6. Cloud Storage and Data Sync

Reverie uses cloud services to store your account data, bucket list items, settings, and uploaded images. This allows your data to be saved and accessed after login.

While we aim to keep your data safe and available, we cannot guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from data loss. You are encouraged to keep your own backup of important information.

7. Uploaded Images

You may upload images for bucket item covers, global backgrounds, or profile-related features.

You confirm that you have the right to upload and use any image you add to Reverie.

We may remove or restrict content if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.

8. Third-Party Services

Reverie may use third-party services for authentication, database, file storage, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, or similar app functionality.

These may include services such as Supabase and Google sign-in.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Reverie for illegal purposes; attempt to hack, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the app; access another user's account or data; upload harmful code or malicious content; abuse authentication, storage, or backend systems; store or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content; impersonate another person; or misrepresent your identity.

10. Changes to Reverie

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Reverie at any time. We may add or remove features, change design, fix bugs, or update app behavior.

We will try to avoid disrupting user experience, but we do not guarantee that any specific feature will always remain available.

11. Account Deletion and Data Removal

You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting contact@elseborne.com.

If an in-app delete account option is available, you may also use that feature.

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize your personal data where reasonably possible, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

Reverie, including its name, design, interface, branding, logo, code, visual style, and related materials, is owned by Elseborne or its creator/licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Reverie without permission, except where allowed by law.

13. Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you allow Elseborne to use them without restriction or compensation. This helps us improve Reverie.

14. Disclaimer

Reverie is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, free from data loss, meet all your expectations, or that any personal goal, plan, travel, purchase, or experience added to Reverie will be achieved.

Your use of Reverie is at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elseborne and Niraj Makhare will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, or damages resulting from use or inability to use Reverie.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Elseborne and Niraj Makhare from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Reverie, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Reverie if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create risk for other users, or if required by law.

You may stop using Reverie at any time.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.

Any disputes should first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us at contact@elseborne.com.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we may notify you through the app, email, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Reverie after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
